Chuck Daly
Born July 20, 1930, in Kane, Pennsylvania, was Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Coach Chuck Daly. Chuck led the two-time NBA champion Detroit Pistons to titles in 1989 and 1990. It was during the team's "Bad Boys" era, with Bill Lambier, Dennis Rodman, Isiah Thomas, and more on the team. Daly success in the NBA earned him the honor of coaching the 1992 United States men's Olympic basketball "The Dream Team" to the gold medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics.
John Thompson
Born September 2, 1941, in Washington, D.C., was Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame legendary center and Coach John Thompson. This legend may be best known as the great runs his Georgetown Hoyas Basketball program had in the 1980s and 90s. His Hoyas team with Sleepy Flloyd and Patrick Ewing won the NCAA Championship in 1984. He later became a broadcaster. As a player Thompson was part of the NBA Championship winning Boston Celtics of 1965, 66.
Connie Hawkins
Born July 17, 1942, in Brooklyn, new York, was Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Forward/Center, Connie Hawkins. This legend was a five-time NBA All-Star, 1967-68 League MVP and twice an ABA All-Star. His finished his illustrious career averaging 18.7 point per game. Hawkins played for the Pittsburgh/Minnesota Pipers, Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles Lakers, and Atlanta Hawks.
Vern Mikkelsen
Born October 21, 1928, in Parlier, California, was Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Forward, Vern Mikkelsen. This legend was one of the NBA's first power forwards while with the Minneapolis Lakers. Vern was always available to play as he showed by playing 699 of the 704 NBA games possible. He was a a tenacious defender but still averaging over 14 points per game.
Drazen Petrovic
Born October 22, 1964 in Sibenik, Croatia, was Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Guard, Dražen Petrović. This legend was an All-NBA player who put on the uniforms of the Portland Trail Blazers and New Jersey Nets during his brilliant five-year NBA career.
Zelmo Beaty
Born October 25, 1939, in Hillister, Texas, was Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Center Zelmo Beaty. This legend was a two-time NBA All-Star and the three-time ABA All-Star. Zelmo played with the St Louis Hawks, Utah Stars, and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Born September 22, 1934, in Mayville, North Dakota, was Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Coach Lute Olson. This legend was the head of the University of of Iowa 1974-83. His team was the NCAA Division I Tournament winner in 1997 as he led the University of Arizona 1983-2008.

Bill Walton
Born November 5, 1952, in La Mesa, California, was Basketball Hall of Fame Center Bill Walton. This legend was a star at UCLA before being drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers in 1974. Walton also played on the San Diego/ Los Angeles Clippers, and the Boston Celtics. Walton led Portland to an NBA championship in 1977, earning the NBA Finals Most Valuable Player Award that season. He won another NBA title in 1986 as a member of the Boston Celtics. Bill was a two-time All-Star and was on the NBA 75th Anniversary team.
